Rho Develops and Sponsors Pilot Training Aimed at Eliminating Hazing, Excessive Alcohol Consumption, and Sexual Assault

October 2018 On Campus Training

On the evening of October 1, 2018, Rho Brothers sponsored a pilot seminar for members of the Greek community titled ‘You’re At A Party, And…” More than 100 Greek students from Lafayette and a contingent from the Psi Chapter (Lehigh) attended the training.

The Rho Chapter developed this program and had it facilitated by Collegiate Empowerment, a nationally recognized college training organization. Rho was able to sponsor this essential training thanks to alumni contributions to the $450,000 Return to Vallamont Campaign.

We received very positive feedback on the pilot session and are working with the Lafayette Office of Student Life and the IFC and PHC to further improve the content, delivery mechanisms, and overall effectiveness of the program. Our goal is to bring training of this type to the entire campus community.
